One man is in custody after what police believe was a targeted attack that left one woman dead in a northeast Calgary hotel. Just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Calgary police were called to the Airport Traveller’s Inn, located at 1809 19 St. N.E., after reports of a disturbance. A woman was found dead in one of the hotel rooms. “Our detectives continue to investigate and believe this was a targeted attack and that it was domestic in nature.” Vladimir Ngbangbo Soki, 29, of Calgary, has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to Gagnon’s death.
