‘He got a slap on the wrist. I got a punch in the face’: Patient who became blind


A former patient who became blind after a Chatham eye doctor failed to diagnose him with glaucoma despite evidence of vision loss says the agency that regulates Ontario’s doctors “didn’t do enough” to hold the doctor to account. Ophthalmologist Christopher Anjema received a four-month suspension as a part of resolution agreement with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
