Donald Trump demands boycott of Coke, Delta, and UPS

Saturday evening, former President Donald J. Trump has demanded people boycott Major League Baseball, Delta Airlines, ViacomCBS, Coca-Cola, UPS, and other companies for speaking out against Georgia’s new voter laws. Trump said “radical left Democrats” have threatened to boycott products for several years, and now the left is “going big time with WOKE CANCEL CULTURE.” “It is finally time for Republicans and Conservatives to fight back — we have more people than they do— by far! Boycott Major League Baseball (MLB), Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS, and Merck,” Trump’s statement read. “Don’t go back to their products until they relent. We can play the game better than them.” Wednesday, the CEOs of Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, and Merck voiced opposition to Georgia’s new voting laws. “The entire rationale for this bill was based on a lie: that there was widespread voter fraud in Georgia in the 2020 elections. This is simply not true,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said in a written statement. “Unfortunately, that excuse is being used in states across the nation that are attempting to pass similar legislation to restrict voting rights.”
