911 calls capture moments after mom fatally shot by toddler on Zoom

Chilling 911 calls captured the moments after a Florida mom was fatally shot in the head in front of her co-workers by her toddler, who found an unsecured gun in the apartment. Shamaya Lynn, 21, was on a Zoom conference call Wednesday when suddenly a loud bang rang out and she fell backward, Altamonte Springs police said in a statement. A person on the call quickly phoned 911. “One of the girls just passed out. She’s bleeding! She has her camera on,” a co-worker can be heard telling the dispatcher, Fox News reported. “She just fell back and her nose was bleeding … I don’t know if something hit, she hit the desk, I don’t know. All I heard — we heard a loud kaboom, and she then leaned back and we just saw blood from her face,” the colleague continues. “The baby’s back there crying, she’s not answering or anything. We’re calling her name, she’s not talking or responding.” The gun belonged to the child’s father, WESH has reported. In another 911 call, Lynn’s boyfriend is heard pleading with the dispatcher to send help. “I literally just got home. And I come in the room and my girlfriend, she was working on the computer, she’s just laid back. There’s blood everywhere!” he says.
