LILLEY: Tone-deaf teacher unions demand a break in March
It’s strange, I don’t hear calls for hospitals to shut down for a week next month so that doctors and nurses working on the frontlines of COVID-19 can take a break and get some rest. Same with the medical staff and personal support workers looking after our elderly and vulnerable in long-term care homes; no one is out advocating that the system shut down for a week because they are stressed and things are just too tough.
