Kentucky dog left for dead in parking lot given 50% chance of survival
A severely-injured dog left in the parking lot of the Kentucky Humane Society last week is improving, according to reports. “He is the thinnest dog we have ever seen that was still breathing,” Kentucky Humane Society said in a blog post. Named Ethan, the canine was found by someone dropping off donations. When staff examined the dog, they found he couldn’t even lift his head and weighed only 38 pounds, less than half of what he should have at full health.
