Suspect Charged After Montreal Synagogue Vandalized With Anti-Semitic Graffiti
A suspect has been charged after horrible anti-Semitic graffiti was found on a Synagogue in Montreal. The Shaar Hashomayim Temple was vandalized with Swastikas on Wednesday, and shortly thereafter a security guard detained 28-year-old Adam Riga. In addition to being charged with possession of incendiary materials, Riga has been charged with threatening to burn down the Synagogue. He is expected to undergo a mental evaluation to see if he is fit to stand trial. Leaders across the political spectrum condemned the anti-Semitic vandalism.
