USA Today runs poll on who won the vice-presidential debates, leaves out Pence as an option

USA Today generated a poll on their Twitter account with four options for who people think won the vice-presidential debate. The options left current Vice-President Michael Pence out entirely. The actual options initially available in the poll were: “Kamala Harris,” “Joe Biden,” “the pesky fly,” and “I didn’t watch.” US Senator for Texas Ted Cruz quickly made a screenshot of the pool and tweeted it, and from there it spread all over social media. Cruz captioned his tweet, “Think the media has an agenda? Mike Pence isn’t even listed as an option on their ‘poll’,” then commented, “It would be easy to let this go as a mere mistake, but it is yet another example of how all media ‘mistakes’ always seem to favor Democrats.”
