Relatives of a 62-year-old man who died in a police-involved shooting in Mississauga say they don’t trust the province’s Special Investigations Unit to probe the incident. The man’s nephew, Hasim Choudry, said the family wants a public inquiry to ensure there’s a fair investigation into Saturday’s police shooting in the Morning Star-Goreway Drs. area. Ontario’s police watchdog — the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) — is now taken over the case.
