Grabbing a drink with your takeout order just got cheaper. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario announced Tuesday that minimum prices for alcoholic beverages sold with a food order are being lowered as an additional measure to help bars and restaurants during the COVID-19 outbreak. The price of whiskey, gin, rum and other spirits has been reduced from $2 per 29 ml to to $1.34 per 29 ml.
