While it understandably passed little-noticed last week, the federal government released Canada’s latest data on industrial greenhouse gas emissions for 2018. Despite all of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s rhetoric about lowering them, they keep going up. That’s significant, because at some point things will get back to normal, or at least a new normal, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
