The driver of a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat who was stopped for doing 160 km/h over the speed limit had a tire on their car blow out just moments after police issued them a ticket, according to the OPP. The car was recorded doing 271 km/h in a 110 km/h zone on Highway 417 just east of Hawkesbury, near the Ontario-Quebec border, the morning of April 18, read tweets from the OPP’s Eastern Region. Photos attached to the post show the bumper of the hardtop looking like it’s about to fall off, damage sustained after one of the rear tires apparently blew apart seconds after the car was stopped.
