Bylaw officer attacked in social-distancing dispute

A Toronto bylaw officer enforcing social distancing rules was punched in the face by a suspected scofflaw. Toronto Police reported cops were called to Mornelle Ct. and Ellesmere Rd. in Scarborough around 1:50 p.m. on Friday for a report that the bylaw officer had been assaulted. When the bylaw officer approached two men, one of them slugged him in the face. the suspects fled.
