When Canada confirmed its first case of COVID-19, few imagined how much our lives would change. Amongst other challenges, the pandemic has spiked demand for essential products to record levels. While 80% of leading food and consumer goods manufacturers have increased production, people are understandably concerned about how supplies will hold up during this unpredictable crisis. Allaying those concerns is much more than business for Canada’s food and consumer goods manufacturers – it is our civic duty.
