Essential staff members at an Ontario government office have not been able to work remotely because their workplace still relies on faxes, mail and in-office computers. Despite ordering most workplaces in the province closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ontario government has kept staff at the Ellen Fairclough building on King St. W. in Hamilton to serve vulnerable clients.
