It was understandable when, because of COVID-19, Premier Doug Ford on March 12 ordered the closing of all Ontario public schools until April 6. Ditto, declaring a state of emergency on March 17, closing libraries, private schools, licensed child care centres, bars and restaurants (except for take out and delivery), recreational facilities providing indoor programs, cinemas, theatres, concerts and dance recitals until March 31.
