Shannon Best was born in the now-shuttered Humber River Hospital. When he broke his finger as a kid, the doctors there fixed it. He has spent pretty much all of his 40 years within the shadow of the hospital. On Monday morning, he was there again taking a walk with Ashley Milton. But there was a pall in the air accented by the dreary slate grey skies and steady light rain.
